We are focused on developing differentiated products for the treatment and prevention of serious
infectious diseases. Our clinical-stage programs include INX-189, a nucleotide polymerase inhibitor,
and FV-100, a bicyclic nucleoside analogue, both of which are potent, orally available, antivirals in
Phase 2 development for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C infections and herpes zoster (shingles),
respectively, as well as Aurexis
®, a humanized monoclonal antibody in clinical development for the
adjunct treatment of serious S.
aureus infections in combination with antibiotics. Antiviral programs in pre-clinical development
include several differentiated oral nucleotide analogues for the treatment of HCV. We have licensed the use of our MSCRAMM
® protein platform
to Pfizer for use in the development of vaccines to prevent S.
aureus infections.
